Just relax, I’m not going to advise you on any new ways of how to drink, when to drink and the most effective way to drink water.
The glasses of water you want to drink to enhance your internal and external physical state is up to you. I don’t want to get into the complicated matrix of measurement, temperature and time-management of water! My only advice for you is, not to get Thirsty.
Be Alert!
Thirst is a belated signal of the process called dehydration already ticking in our body and that is not a good thing at all. Lack of fluid, rather than just water is what can cause a lot of complications in our body, which we are all aware of.
Just sip some liquid from time to time. One small word of awareness, nothing in excess is ever good for us and that includes water. Ever heard of water-intoxication? Funny as it may sound, it’s quite an alarming situation! It occurs when, the sodium level in the blood stream drains out due to excessive intake of water. The symptoms range from disorientation, muscle cramps, breathlessness and in severe cases swelling in the brain, which can be fatal!
Fluid Versus Water
Our body is not rehydrated with water alone. It is the total intake of fluid in a day that is important. It includes, your tea, milk, juices, smoothies, soups, fruits, as well the food you eat.
Too much fluid is as harmful to your kidneys as is too little! The target is to flush the toxins out of your body and keep it rehydrated. We are not aquatic beings, so we don’t need water constantly. Your fluid intake is dependent on your lifestyle and your physical conditions and varies from person to person. If you are confused, consult an expert.
Enjoy a hot cuppa, rejuvenate with cold sips or just relax with a glass of simple life-saving water. Listen to your body. Quench your thirst in time and enjoy the benefits of good health.
